Request for cooperation in measures to prevent infection with COVID-19

In view of the recent coronavirus infection situation, we will continue to operate measures against COVID-19 in our clinic.

1. Precautions when visiting the hospital
① The person who receives medical examination can enter the clinic. (Attendant cannot enter the clinic)
* Please understand that an attendant may unintentionally become a source of infection. Thank you for your cooperation.
② Wear a facial mask in the clinic.
③ Check your body temperature at home before coming to the clinic. If the temperature is above 37.5C, you will not be able to receive a medical examination. Please contact us to change your reservation.
④ Please check the information on our website.
⑤ If you have any of the following symptoms 1 to 4, you will not be able to receive medical examination. Please contact us to change your reservation.
1, Fever, Headache, Cold symptoms, Sore throat, Runny nose, Cough, Shortness of breath, Suffocation, Chest pain, Dullness, Rash, Diarrhea, Vomiting, Dysgeusia, Flu symptoms.
2, Returned from overseas within 2 weeks, or those who living together returned from overseas within 2 weeks.
3, Infected with COVID-19 within 2 weeks, or those who living together infected COVID-19 within 2 weeks.
4, Suffering from epidemic disease.

2. About outpatient examination
We will endeavor to reduce the number of visits to pregnant women's medical examinations as much as possible and to shorten staying time in the clinic as much as possible.
① Change the interval for pregnant women's medical examinations.
② Health guidance for midwives will be provided only when necessary.
* Please use the leaflet and image contents. (There is a QR code in the waiting seat in the hospital.)

3. About hospitalization (From October 26, 2020)
① Only husband (partner) can attend the delivery.
However, depending on the progress of delivery We may not be able to contact you in advance and you may not be able to attend.
Please note that safety of mother and child is our top priority.
Husband (partner) will get the call when he can enter the delivery room. After coming to the clinic, husband or partner will enter the delivery room directly, he cannot wait in the labor room or waiting room before the call.
In case of emergency caesarean section surgery, we will explain it separately.
The time of stay in the delivery room is approximately 30 minutes.
② Please refrain from visiting during hospital stay.
③ Discharge will be on the third day after giving birth, if mother and baby’s conditions are all fine. (The date of birth is the 0th day)
If you would like to leave the clinic on the second day after giving birth, doctor will judge if you could leave the clinic, it depends on you and baby’s conditions.
This does not apply if the doctor makes a medical judgment, and you may not leave the hospital on the second and third days. *Newborn baby need to take blood test and K2 syrup on 5th to 6th day after birth. You need to make an appointment for this. (If you are discharged from the clinic on the 2nd day after giving birth, please come to the clinic on the 4th to 5th day after giving birth.)
Blood test: Inborn errors of metabolism test (all), Optional screening (optional)

4. About delivery when there is a positive reaction of COVID-19
Those who are infected with the new coronavirus cannot deliver at our clinic.
In this case, we will arrange to transport you to a hospital where you can take measures against infectious diseases.
We will do our best to prevent newborn baby and our patients from being infected with COVID-19 and epidemic diseases.
Your family members are requested to thoroughly prevent infections daily, such as washing hands, disinfecting, and coughing etiquette.
Having the right knowledge and making rational decisions and actions will help prevent the spread of infection.
