To All Visitors (Updated on May 8th, 2023)

Thank you for your continuous cooperation in infection control measures.
Our clinic will continue to take infection control measures as in the previous years.
Although the government has left the wearing of face masks to the discretion of the individual, we ask that face masks be worn in our clinic.
With the moving of COVID-19 to category 5 infection after May 8th, 2023, the clinic will make some changes to the previous rules as follows.
We appreciate for your understanding and cooperation.

Changes:
① In the outpatient clinic, only children are allowed to accompany their mother only in the afternoon.
② Husband (partner) and children can attend the delivery. Visiting hours are 2 hours, including attending the delivery, as before.
Husband (partner) and children are also allowed to visit after the birth if they are not present at the delivery. Visiting hour is 1 hour.
Up to 2 children are allowed in the room (1 preschooler is allowed).
③ Visits during hospitalization from the day after delivery are possible only husband (partner) and children. They must come to the clinic between 3:00 pm and 5:00 pm and may visit for one hour only. (Please refrain from bringing food and beverages.)

Please confirm the following information before you come to our clinic.

  1. Precautions when visiting the clinic
    ① Wear facial masks in the clinic, including children.
    ② All persons entering the clinic should take their body temperature at home before coming to the clinic.
    If the temperature is over 37.5℃ for maternity patients (37℃ for others), they are not allowed to enter the clinic building.
    ③ You should not come to the clinic in the following 1-3 cases. Please contact us.
    1. The patient or a family member living with the patient has symptoms such as Fever, Headache,
      Cold symptoms, Sore throat, Uncomfortable throat, Cough, Runny nose, etc.
    2. The patient or a family member living with the patient has been Infected with COVID-19 and is under medical care.
    3. The patient or a family member living with the patient is suffering from an epidemic disease.
  2. About outpatient examination
    We will continue to strive to shorten the time spent in the clinic.
  3. About hospitalization (Updated on May 8th, 2023)
    ① Husband (partner) and children can attend the delivery. About visiting hours, including attending the delivery, is approximately 2 hours.
    The person delivering the baby will contact her husband (partner) directly to inform him of the time to come to the clinic. The husband (partner) and children are not allowed to wait in the clinic before being contacted.
    In case of emergency c- section surgery, we will explain it separately.
    If they are not attending the delivery but visiting after the birth, the visiting time will be approximately
    1 hour.
    Up to 2 children are allowed in the room (1 preschooler is allowed).
    ② Visits during hospitalization from the day after delivery are possible only husband (partner) and children. They must come to the clinic between 3:00 pm and 5:00 pm and may visit for one hour only.
    (Please refrain from bringing food and beverages.)
    ③ Regardless of infection control measures, discharge is generally on the third postpartum day.
    (Count the date of delivery as day 0)
    If you would like to leave the clinic on the second day after giving birth, doctor will judge if you could leave the clinic, it depends on you and baby’s conditions. This does not apply if the doctor makes a medical judgment, and you may not leave the hospital on the second and third days.
    NOTE: Newborn baby need to take ※blood test and K2 syrup on 4th to 6th day after birth. You will need to make an appointment for this. If you are discharged from the clinic on the 3rd day after giving birth, please come to the clinic on the 4th to 6th day after giving birth. Or, if you are living in the home visit area designated by the clinic, we will respond with a home visit.
    (※Blood test: Inborn errors of metabolism test (all), Optional screening (optional))
    ④ Patients can be dropped off at the clinic upon admission and picked up at the parking lot upon discharge. Family members are not allowed to wait in the clinic.
  4. About delivery when there is a positive reaction of COVID-19
    If an infected patient has a high fever or other symptoms and the physician determines that delivery at an advanced medical institution is preferable, we may arrange to transfer the patient to a hospital.

We will do our best to prevent newborn baby and our patients from being infected with COVID-19 and epidemic diseases.
Your family members are requested to thoroughly prevent infections daily, such as washing hands, disinfecting, and coughing etiquette.
